Warning: Some users reported that some extensions would not install with PortableFirefox using the regular procedure. To process these installations, we advise to right-click on the install link, choose “save link as…” and save it wherever you want, on the Desktop for example. Within Firefox, go to “File”→”Open a file…” then select the .xpi file you just saved (you can delete it from the Desktop once the installation is complete). |
Help and french extensions
To obtain Firefox Help in French, you have to install the fr-FR.xpi file.
This will grant you access to more extensions translated into Moliere’s language.

Sage is an extension for the Firefox web browser which allows to read RSS (Really Simple Syndication) and Atom news’ feeds. Learn more?

FireFTP is an extension which adds an FTP client to Firefox.
ScrapBook
ScrapBook allows to create an album
With a click or a drag-and-drop, it is possible to pick up an exact copy from a page (keeping the same page setup, pictures, animations… ) or a picture. Even better, ScrapBook allows to extract only an excerpt from the page (texts, pictures… ), a frame or different types of medias linked within the page (pictures, sounds, videos… ).
Downloaded pages can be viewed in the left panel. There, they can be moved, sorted in directories… ScrapBook also allows to search through downloaded files, to sort files according to several criterias (alphabet, date… ) and also to add notes. Learn more?
Thunderbird Extensions
The most useful extension is probably the english dictionary. To install it, download the spell-en-EN.xpi on your hard drive, then in Thunderbird, open “Tools” → “Extensions”. Finally, click on the install button and give the .xpi file path.
